Fidan Hajiyeva

Fidan Hajiyeva – opera singer of the Azerbaijan Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, teacher, mezzo-soprano. People’s Artist of Azerbaijan.

Born on September 7, 1976, in Baku. In 1984 she entered the piano class of the Bulbul special secondary music school. In 1994, she entered the faculty of solo singing (vocals) of the Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyov. She is a student of Professor Huseyn Aliyev. In 1998, she took master classes in vocal art from the People’s Artist of Russia, the world famous Irina Arkhipova. Since 1996 – soloist of the Azerbaijan State Opera and Ballet Theater. Since 2000, collaborates with the State Opera and Ballet Theater of Mersin of the Republic of Turkey. In 2002, she entered graduate school under the guidance of Professor Huseyn Aliyev. Since 2004, the main soloist of the Song and Dance Ensemble named after Gazi Aslanov at the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan. In 2010, she continued her vocal training with the world-famous mezzo-soprano Bruno Ballyone.
